Best Tech of 2011

It’s that time of year again; with Christmas fast approaching and the New Year just around the corner just about every publication and website who considers themselves “tech savvy” is putting out their version of the Best of Technology in 2011 lists.

As expected, the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 were at the top of most lists.

Although the much anticipated updated iPhone was released late, and to a somewhat bitter audience who was expecting an “iPhone 5”, no one could deny that the phone still dominated the smartphone market.

But Android isn’t completely down and out.  The Motorola Droid Razr and Android “Ice Cream Sandwich” smartphone interface both made lists as well.

Looking for something a little more unique?  Honorable mentions including “smart” thermostats, water clocks, and wi-fi scales are some items that have been re-imagined to be more “tech friendly”.

Did your “must have” make the list?
